I had visit other dealerships in search for the car that would met the purpose of life at this point and at these dealerships I visited, the salesperson would give comments on competitors that was not correct or even professional. "We have noted a huge difference in service between a locally owned dealership and the regional/national superchains. Although Ellis owns a variety of dealerships, it's still very aware of its Atlanta roots. We received a level of care, patience and assistance that was completely absent from the other dealerships we visited. The numbers we were offered were realistic, which minimized haggling for the sake of haggling. The entire sales process was transparent, with no games, gimmicks or phony numbers (stuff like "What'll it take to get you in this car?" "Tell me what you can afford in payments and trust me to make a deal for you." "We can't negotiate price until we negotiate your trade in."). Likewise, the staff was older, experienced and mature. There was none of the hype and high pressure that other organizations (yes, you, Toyota) employ on a regular basis. It made a stressful decision much easier to make.
